How to Guide: Bank Statements

Updated: Jan 31, 2022

Bank Statements, you know...thank stack of papers you get monthly in the mail for your bank.

The one that tells the tale of your financial adventures for the last 30 days.

You may still received these OR you may have opted for E-Statements only.

Either way...these are the pages that help us process through your loan for your home.

They are major part of the First Step Document List.

You may not have looked at these in a LONG while, so here is a helpful guide to get exactly what we need for your loan.

Option 1: Your mailed paper Bank Statement or Monthly E-Statement

Option 2: A print out of your online statement showing

  • Name(s) on the account

  • Account Number

  • Running Balance

  • URL address at the top or bottom

Option 3: In-Person bank print showing

  • Name(s) on the account

  • Account Number

  • Running Balance

  • Official Bank stamp or business card from teller

For Joint Account Holders: mortgage companies will need a signed & dated permission letter allowing the other account holders use of the joint account.
